Council of Catholic Women

The Council of Catholic Women was founded in 1920 at the request of the US Catholic Bishops. The intent was to give women a more unified voice in the Church by uniting groups that already existed and to foster new connections.

The council has responded to the needs of the times and has not only supported the work of the Church, but has served the needs of the poor, the elderly and the maligned. Fed by the Eucharist and the Word of God, the CCW continues this work today.

The Blessed Sacrament CCW actively supports the Options for Women-a Pregnancy LifeCare Center, Lenten Soup Suppers,  the Parish Fall Festival, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL); and outreach to the needy.

CCW meets at 1:00 in the Parish Center annex on the first Monday of each month.
